To raise awareness of the value of existence throughout the world.
We exist in an enormous, magnificent universe. Existence Day is not about money, ethnicity, country, or religion. It's about celebrating the simple fact that we exist, because it's truly something to be anything at all.
Existence Day started during a conversation between friends in the summer of 2006 in Ijamsville, MD. After hours of discussing the potential benefits of such a holiday and refining the concept, we purchased a budget web site.
Not Much.
2009 was the first year Existence Day was celebrated. It's estimated 1000 people from 22 different countries celebrated on its first day.
That's up to you. Get the word out.
